Very Good
The onsen is really great. 3 different one including an open air, and a sauna. Products provided in the onsen seemed good quality.
Breakfast plan is not interesting. You pay more than if you purchase the breakfast separately. On top of this, breakfast buffet is not good.

Modern, efficient, beautiful onsen!
Small but modern and functional room. Efficient check in and check out. Late night ramen offer. Super nice onsen incl. outside pool on top floor.

Comfortable but awkward
The room is a Western Style room, which was very comfortable for a Westerner like myself. The breakfast was definitely worth it, as there was a good mix of Asian and Western foods to choose from.
Tattoos are NOT allowed in the onsen. While this is a common across Japan for public onsens, it was really disappointing to see that it wasn't ok. To be fair, I didn't check ahead of time, but it isn't printed on the info card. Additionally, the people of Mito would openly stare at me. This is not about the Hotel, but the area itself.
